Ok...I think I should discuss the reason behind my screen name....first off, let's divide the name into separate pieces...Eli, 216 and Mcdo Addict...
First off...Eli
My REAL name is Andrei Ellison Yalung Corpuz...I have many nicknames (e.g. Andrei, Drei, Rei, Ellison, Son ,pronounced as sawn, Eli ,pronounced as Eh-lee, Eli ,pronounced as E-lie, etc)
My ex gave me the nickname Eli (E-lie) and it stuck to me back then...
216
In our High School, Ateneo de Manila High School, we have this special three-day retreat where in people undergo an unorthodox way of looking at religion. The number signifies the batch that I was in...coincidentally my DWTL (Days With The Lord) name is Eli216-* (pronounced as E-lie two-one-six-star)...The * is a symbol to signify that I was to be a rector but I never did, which is ok by me..
Mcdo Addict...
Back then, waaaaay before the re-design, my original name was Mcdo_Addict or The_Mcdo_Addict (I forgot which one) but since there was a new rule that said that the symbol _ was no longer available for use in names, I figured that I should just go with my Days name and akamcdoaddict...Mcdo btw is the shortened version of McDonald's. Back when I was still in high school I'd meet up with my friends in McDonald's seeing that it was very convenient place for all of us...
Things are going smooth for me...I got a part in our latest production, one that has a decent exposure time, considering we're staging three one-act plays, and summer sem is over. Now that I have a week or two on my own, I can get some much needed work done. First off, I'm sad to say that I no longer have any time to fit voice acting as a profession (that's right, I used to work for this local radio station ^_^) and since people here aren't interested in using my voice, I'd completely scratch it off, unless they request it. Also, I will be making some musical scores and pieces for these upcoming months of June and July, so expect to hear some new tunes from me.
Here is a picture of me together with one of our Assistant Production Managers, Pam in one of our script reading sessions (I hate my hair XD).
Our theater org decided to host this little sportsfest-turned-parlor-games contest...It was really fun, but terribly hot, I actually got sunburned (highly unlikely with my skin nowadays)...I wasn't part of any game so I just hula-hooped my ass out...yes it was ghey and all but what the hell, we were having fun...We then went to have a bite at Yellow Cab, a good pizza place...then went to the local drinking hole and had some gin with lemonade, gin with strawberry juice and gin with grapefruit juice...yum!
I decided to apply what I have learned in my previous post and put it into good use. What better way to start it off with someone almost everyone is familiar with. So here is my application of the Hero Archetype in Philippine Literature, putting Jesus Christ in the spotlight. For the sake of convention, I will call each description as ANDA followed by the number it appeared in my previous post.
ANDA 1.) Christ is born in Bethlehem but left his birthplace and stayed in Nazareth.
ANDA 3.) Jesus Christ realizes his mission early in his childhood and later on in his adult life.
ANDA 2.) Jesus' "magical item" is the fact that he is the Son of God.
ANDA 4-5.) Jesus dukes it out with the evil in the world, even encounters The Devil in his fasting.
ANDA 6-7.) Sometime in his praying in Gethsemane, he doubts whether or not he should die. According to the Pasyong Mahal (The Passion Story), Jesus sees an angel that tells him not to doubt himself and that he must fulfill his duties as the Son of God.
ANDA 8.) Jesus dies on the Cross for our sins.
ANDA 9-10.) After three days He rises from the dead and defeats the evil, saving us from our sins.
And Finally
ANDA 11.) Jesus returns to the Kingdom of God and celebrates their victory over evil.

I just want to share this with everyone who may be interested in creating a story, may it be related to the site's content (flash, video, etc.) as I believe this could be an effective way of creating characters. I, being an aspiring writer, wish to give everyone this knowledge.
The ff is the Epic Hero Archetype in Philippine Literature (The order of the events are not restricted to their numbering and may be organized in a different manner) :
1) The Hero/Heroine leaves their hometown/birthplace in search for answers to their questions, mostly questions about their identity as a hero/heroine or what their future holds. Normally, the hero is of "The Right Age" or the age where they are competent enough to make their own decisions and changes in life.
2) The hero comes across a magical item or accessory that holds power capable of answering their questions or overcome their soon-to-be adversaries. Usually these items are either mentioned to be in the possession of the hero/heroine right at the beginning or somewhere near the middle of the story.
3) The hero/heroine realizes his/her mission. This realization is crucial as this is where the action truly begins.
4) The hero/heroine comes across his/her enemy/enemies whom they will have a decisive battle with. Normally this is when their first battle begins.
5) The fight ensues and if there are multiple enemies, the one true enemy is found here. Heroes/Heroine normally lose in this battle or their battle will end in a draw in which both parties will someday fight once more in the near future.
6) A diwata (fairy or any mythical being, probably even a Deus Ex Machina) will appear and aid the hero/heroine in his/her journey. Also the diwata holds something important to the hero.
7) This item is the secret information the hero/heroine need to know immediately. The information ranges from the secret in defeating the foe, to the fact that the enemy is somehow related to the hero (lover, family, friend etc.)
8) This is where it gets a bit weird. The hero/heroine DIES in this part. Sometimes the death of the hero triggers more events that would eventually lead to the downfall of the enemy.
9) After dying the hero is somehow resurrected by any powerful being or ritual in which the hero/heroine undergoes a transformation. Either they become more heroic or they become an anti-hero.
10) This is the final battle in which the hero finally defeats the enemy. Almost always this part is the best fight the audience should see as this is where all the questions are answered.
11) Lastly, after the battle and after fulfilling the duties and accomplishing his/her mission, the hero will now return from where he came from and celebrates his victory.
Basically that's it. This is one of the common hero archetypes we Filipinos have for our heroes.

I miss the people, the sights, the sounds, the tears, the blood, the shouts and screams, the anger, the love and everything else. Who the hell do these people think they are? Just a bunch of geeks with no friends and life for sure....in cyberspace, they can be who they can never be...too bad that once they get hacked or something, all their precious "coolness" would be gone...at least for me, I have a life...I've got friends and a lover...I've got a family who loves me...poor you if you have none...I don't give a damn what people think..."They can all swim at the bottom of the ocean."
